10 Tips For a Successful Relationship

Relationships are the real heart of expansion... Which means they are the most contrasting experiences we have in our human lives. They are the source of our greatest joy and the source of our greatest misery.

Relationships create the means for our personal evolution. And so in order to have successful relationships, we need to learn how to flow with the current of that change. We need to learn how to cultivate harmony while allowing that change within us to take place.

Talk about difficult. It is the work of several lifetimes. Unconditional love is an exchangeable term with enlightenment. And so it is a thing we will be practicing for the rest of our lives. Some days you'll have an easier time with it than others.

In this episode Teal shares ten tips, which will help us to have successful, enjoyable relationships.

CD CREATIVE VENTURES PRESENTS (playlist)

We moved into our home in the fall of 1996 and there were no gardens or fencing anywhere on the property. Being avid gardens we immediately began making plans to landscape it. We started out by digging up the sod in the front, cultivating the soil and transplanting some of the perennials and shrubs from the property we had left.
Then we hauled a lot of the rocks we had began framing the newly dug up plots. The process of digging, planting, transplanting has continued  over the years and here we are 15 years later and there are a lot of gardens with only one small patch of grass left so our dogs have a place to play and do their business.

The gardens are filled with mature perennial plants, trees and shrubs. We put up fences, created a lattice inner courtyard covered in climbing vans and added water ponds, fruit bearing trees and shrubs. Along with an abundance of flowers there is a veggie garden and this year David removed the old deck and expanded the new one and we are enjoying the extra space a lot.

Landscaping and gardening is a shared passion and even though the garden is well established each year we alter things to keep our interest. We fill the whiskey barrels and other container pots with a wide variety of annuals. They add a splash of color throughout the yard and contrast the different bloom times of the perennials.
Even though we live in a small rural town the trees and vines growing along the fences gives us a lot of privacy. Our outdoor space is our little piece of heaven and a sanctuary we enjoy all summer long year. We have what many people wish they could "escape to" right outside our doors and we love being out there. We have screened areas to avoid run-ins with bugs and mosquitoes and sitting around an open fire and star-gazing reminds us that there are many simple pleasures we enjoy in our yard.

We hope visitors to our channel enjoy the walk-through in our garden as much as we enjoy sharing our garden with others on and off line.

In Celebration of Friendships and Fresh Beginnings

Fresh Beginnings Personal Development Company is the company we co-founded and co-direct (www.fresh-beginnings.com). There is also a social forum (Fresh Beginnings Forum FBF) on on Social Paradox  where we celebrate the gift of friendship and support each other through the ups and downs in life. http://freshbeginnings.socialparadox.com/main

This video has been created as a reminder that friends make the world go around and that friends often become the family and siblings we were not given within our families of origin.

Celebrating 20 years of marriage at Grand Beach, Manitoba in Canada

When we met on July 15th, 1990 and were married a year later we made a joint commitment to keeping the magic alive throughout the years.

As self-employed partners in life and business we have to practice what we suggest to clients and that is to resolve differences as they come up then let them go. Strive to love more and be mindful, sensitive, caring and compassionate whether we agree or not. We know that is often easier said than done but when those principles are maintained it goes a long way to keeping the magic there.

This video shares us celebrating 21 year and 20 years of marriage together in July 2013. Check back in another 20 to see if we're still practicing these principles for a happy married life. Now...and always.

Cheers,
Coralie & David

Self-change With Brain-Wave Technology

Perspectives on Healthy Living

Brain-Wave Technology – A Dynamic Way to Change Patterns and Improve Health

    --By Coalie Darsey-Malloy

Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.
  -Jim Rohn

I was first introduced to brain wave technology in the mid-eighties by a Winnipeg massage therapist. Since that time I have continued to use a variety of brain wave technologies. They have assisted me in transforming limiting patterns and augmenting my goals.

Robert Monroe was one of the founders of this breakthrough technology. He began doing research in different levels of consciousness in the 1970s after having an out-of-body experience that expanded his awareness.  Then in 1978 he started The Monroe Institute in Faber, Virginia, as a nonprofit education and research centre devoted to the exploration and expansion of human consciousness. Robert Monroe's pioneering work with hemispheric synchronization sound patterns (Hemi-Sync®) inspired an entire industry of mind/brain products and technologies.

This audio-guidance technology works through the generation of complex sounds and signals that are used to influence brain wave activity. The multi-layered patterns (heard through headphones) assist the brain by producing a third sound called a binaural beat that encourages the desired brainwave activity and synchronization process. When the left and right sides of the brain are working together, the mind is in an optimal condition for improving performance in all areas of life.

Over the years, the process has evolved and there are an unlimited range of sound frequencies that are effective for a variety of given applications. For example, the sleep products incorporate predominately delta frequencies and the learning products are predominately beta. (Beta equals awake and alert; alpha and theta are slower frequencies, and delta is sleep level.) Each title is usually 30 to 40 minutes in length. Even hearing-impaired individuals can receive the benefits of balancing left and right hemispheres of the brain. The frequencies are carried to the brain by the bones in the ear canal.

Sleep Help

Brain synchcronization assists people with actuve minds and has assisted some of our clients with a dependency on  sleep meditation and has assisted with a host of other symptoms including:

achieving deep body and mind relaxation
helping reach goals
releasing self-limiting thoughts and behaviour
opening to abundance and financial freedom
enhancing my creativity, writing abilities and productivity
assisting me in managing stress and anxiety
increasing my focus and concentration
achieving a healthy weight and fitness
entering deep meditative states more easily

In our work with clients we suggest the use of brain-wave technology for a three-week period.  When asked if this technology is similar to  brain-wave technology and hypnosis the answer is that both systems open doorway to expanded states of awareness. In this state, one can be fully aware of the environment such as sound, light and temperature – while receiving greater insight into past lives, out-of-body experiences, and information from spiritual allies or one’s higher self.

Neither brain-wave technology nor hypnosis can make people do anything they do not choose to do. It is always possible to maintain value systems, including choosing to follow suggestions from the therapist or brain-wave CDs, or not. The process is akin to self-hypnosis and leaves control in the hands of the listener.

Depending on the producer of brain-synchronization content ther may be subliminal recordings embed particular thoughts in the mind of the listener by recording words at sub-audible levels and high speeds. The CDs from the Monroe Institute do not as the verbal instructions and auditory-guidance they use process involves specific blends that augment goals and listener’s intentions.
What is Hemi-Sync®

Hemi-Sync is a trademarked, state-of-the-art audio technology that encourages coherent brainwave activity based on the natural functioning of the brain. Our brains produce waves or patterns of electrical activity. Different patterns indicate different mental states, such as rest (occipital Alpha), deep sleep (central Delta), meditation (central and frontal Theta), and normal daily awareness (wide-spread Beta). It is scientifically verifiable that sound can influence brainwaves, and thereby influence consciousness. To take this a step further, specific combinations and sequences of sound can lead the brain into states such as deep relaxation, sleep, or keen alertness. This is called Frequency Following Response.

When the brain receives a different frequency in each ear, through the use of stereo headphones or speakers, it generally responds by “hearing” a third frequency, the difference between the two incoming frequencies. This will bring both the right and left hemispheres of the brain into unified activity; thus the term hemispheric synchronization, or Hemi-Sync for short.

When this third frequency is related to a certain state of consciousness, the synchronized brain tends to produce the same state through the Frequency Following Response. In addition to verbal instructions, this auditory-guidance process involves carefully constructed blends and sequences of stereo sound patterns designed to evoke beneficial brainwave states through neurological mechanisms.

Right and left auditory input is combined in the brainstem's superior olivary nucleus and routed to the reticular formation that, in turn, uses neurotransmitters to initiate changes in neurological activity in the thalamus and cortex.

Hemi-Sync does not employ the use of subliminal suggestions. The versatility of Hemi-Sync gives the basic technology an almost limitless range of applications for mental, physical, and emotional well-being. The technology simply and effectively allows you to involve your own total capabilities and direct them as you choose. It can be compared to a powerful software program that facilitates extraordinary levels of performance and productivity, guided by the intention and desire of the listener.

There are so many more wonderful products in this technology. The methods can and frequently do lead to  greater self-mastery. They assist listeners  explore realms beyond  current level of awareness.

The Unexplainable Store Review - Do The Brainwave Recordings Work | Rela...

If you suffer from anxiety, you know how unpleasant it is to be constantly dealing with thoughts of worry and fear. You're not alone - chronic anxiety is a growing problem in today's stressful society, but there is no reason to resign yourself to feeling like this. As many people are discovering, meditation can be a very effective anxiety relief method. So if you want to learn to relieve your anxiety naturally, read on for more information.

Meditation basically involves quieting the mind by focusing your thoughts. By doing this, you can gain some respite from the constant swirl of worries within your mind. The object of your focus varies, according to the meditation method that you're using. Let's take a look at three popular meditation techniques that can be effective for anxiety reduction.

1. Breathing Meditation

Perhaps the simplest type of meditation is to put all of your focus on your breath. This involves paying attention to your breath as it enters and leaves your body. You might focus on your nostrils, feeling the breath as it enters and leaves. Or you might follow your breath down into your lungs and out again.

Either way, you'll find that your breathing naturally slows, and both your mind and body will eventually become deeply relaxed. Breathing meditation is an excellent method because it requires no special equipment and you can do it any time. However, if you're new to meditation you might find it difficult to keep your attention on your breath at first, and it may take some practice before you reap the full benefits.

2. Guided Meditation

Guided meditation involves listening to a recording which features vocal cues that guide you through a sequence of visualisations. The types of imagery used in guided meditations vary dramatically, although they often involve relaxing scenarios and landscapes, such as when you take a mental trip to the beach or a walk in the forest.

In the case of guided meditations for anxiety relief, you might specifically and visualise yourself as being free from anxiety, particularly in situations which would normally trigger worrisome thoughts.
Guided meditations are often enhanced by the use of music or relaxing sound effects such as running water. You can also create your own guided meditation scripts to record yourself.

3. Brainwave Entrainment Recordings For Anxiety Reduction

Guided meditations are often easier to focus on than breathing meditation, especially for beginners. However many people still find that their minds wander and it's difficult to fully switch off their anxious thoughts. The third meditation method that we'll look at here, brainwave entrainment, is especially good for those who have trouble switching off.

Brainwave entrainment meditation involves listening to a specially designed recording that features rapidly repeating sound pulses of specific frequencies. The brain has a natural tendency to match its own brainwaves to the frequency of the sounds it is hearing - this is called the 'frequency following response'.

This is very useful, because different states of consciousness are linked with the production of brainwaves of specific frequencies. Meditation for anxiety relief is most effective when you can enter a very deeply relaxed state, where your brain waves slow right down. It can be hard to achieve this level of relaxation if you're not used to meditating, but with the use of a specially designed brainwave recording it becomes much easier.

There are three types of brainwave meditation recordings: binaural beats, isochronic tones and monaural beats. All three work very well, although many people find that isochronic tones of the most effective.

If you decide to use meditation as a way of reducing anxiety, I recommend using a brainwave entrainment recording, especially if you find it hard to focus on while using other methods.

Beautiful video and butterfly quotes about butterflies the logo for Fresh Beginnings

In a variety of religions and spiritual paths there are many where  wildlife and nature is interwoven into  the teachings.  This earth housed animals and nature long before we were here or even existed.

Animals know more about survival and adapting than humans do, having survived "the end of world" time and time again. The knowledge we have gained from every species is unfathomable. So in due respect, each animal holds a special meaning, and many people have a special bond with a certain animal.

Butterfly is a known for transition and change, symbolizing our soul. A butterfly's life span is about a month, and in that short amount of time they go from a caterpillar to a Butterfly. The butterfly spends its entire life changing and adapting. It first learns how to crawl, and then it learns how to fly.
It is said; when a butterfly crosses your path your life is going to change.

It may be the simplest change, or a monumental change.... but it is there to let you know that you are transitioning. Butterflies are beautiful; they enjoy everything beautiful in the world. They flutter on the slightest breezes and they live off of flowers and plants. When you see a butterfly, it is a reminder to enjoy the smallest things. To remember that life is short and yet filled with beauty.
